My name is Jon, I’m a gardener based in Gloucester. From a young age I spent a lot of time around people gardening and making/fixing things. I’ve gained a wide range of experience from jobs in various industries, including construction, engineering, computing and animal care. Parts of my education involved learning about plants and ecology.
While living in Shropshire I ran a similar business, and have started up again since moving back to Gloucester.
I want you to be completely happy with the work I’ve done in your garden, so will make sure I spend time talking it over with you before I begin.

Insurance
While it hasn’t been used so far, I do have public liability insurance which will remedy any accidental damage that might occur while I am working on your property.
Pricing
For most jobs (hedge trimming, weeding, garden clearance, etc.) I charge a day rate of £240, which includes the provision of good quality petrol tools which allow me to complete jobs quickly and to a good standard.
For things like tree removal I can offer a fixed price in advance.
For longer projects, or those requiring materials (fencing, etc.), a deposit payment may be required. The remainder of the bill can then be paid after the work has been completed to your satisfaction.
Materials
If needed, I can advise on the materials needed for a job and, using your deposit, purchase these items on your behalf.
Waste Disposal
Where possible, any green waste (hedge trimmings, etc.) will be disposed of in your recycling bin or compost area.
If garden waste needs to be taken away there will be an additional charge of £30 per bulk/gravel bag, as once removed it is classed as commercial waste which I pay to dispose of – I have a waste carriers license for this.
